- Byfield Heating to disconnect old gas meter and purge pipes on 15th August ready for Opus Energy to remove following week (free of charge). Fulcrum confirmed excavation of trench and installation of upgraded gas supply will take place on 15th Opus Energy (via sub-contractor SMS) will install new gas meter on 22nd August. Following this work, Byfield Heating will connect the new system to the gas supply and begin the testing and commissioning process.
- Paul Copley Electrical brought forward their date for continuation of the LED lighting units installation to 9th Croft Hall is now completed and the change in lighting level is amazing. Studio II, IT Suite, kitchen and some emergency lights now to be completed on 18th August.
- Sheffield Window Centre have confirmed scaffolding will be erected around three sides of the building on Tuesday 13th The installation of their double-glazed window units will commence on 9th September with a scheduled duration of 8 working days.
NB : some minor daytime disruption is possible during these works – advance notice will be given wherever possible. The scaffolding is due to be dismantled on Tuesday 24th September.
- Greg Owens Roofing revised commencement date for maintenance work on the main roof area to week commencing 19th August – anticipated approximately two weeks work. The scaffolding will incorporate all necessary safety features but users are requested to exercise care when entering and leaving the building. Please note there will be no access to the lower yard for car parking during this period.
