Your latest weekly update on progress :
- Byfield Heating Ltd achieved remarkable progress in their first week – the boiler and most of the radiators are now installed and piping work is going on apace. We have met on site with the Fulcrum Project Manager and we now have their date for the upgraded gas supply installation (15th August) after which we can arrange with Opus Energy for the new meter to be installed. Once this is in place then the new heating system can be switched on, balanced and commissioned ready for the coming winter.
- Paul Copley Electrical – majority of major work completed – still to install replacement LED lighting in Studio II and a few other locations – awaiting decision on Croft Hall ceiling arrangements.
- Sheffield Window Centre have now confirmed dates for the erection of scaffolding (14th August – which will enable our roofing contractor to commence work on the main roof) and for the commencement of windows fitting from 9th September with a duration target of 8 working days.
- Roof repairs to the area over the staircase (not part of the Veolia grant) will be carried out on Tuesday 23rd July – this should not have any effect on Croft House users or contractors.
